Along with a dedication to enhance the college experience for its members, Spartan Ski Club is also determined to have a positive impact on the community and to share their passion for skiing and riding with those unable.

Challenge Mountain, MI
Each year, SSC officers and members volunteer at Challenge Mountain, a skiing program in northern Michigan offering an opportunity for individuals with disabilities to experience the joy of skiing. Challenge Mountain aims to "enrich lives and empower individuals living with disabilities through year-round adaptive recreation." Spartan Ski Club typically volunteers in January/February. Wish upon a teen
Starting in 2019, Spartan Ski Club is teaming up with Wish Upon a Teen! Wish Upon a Teen is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing resources, time and opportunities to teenagers with severe life-limiting medical conditions. Through creative, social, and educational opportunities, their goal is to normalize their environment and rebuild their self-esteem as they transition to adulthood. Email us if you are interested and we will get back to you with upcoming dates! *Due to the pandemic, decorating has been put on hold, but proceeds from our fundraising events will go towards helping to decorate rooms!
BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS
Starting this year, Spartan Ski Club is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters! Big Brothers Big Sisters is an volunteer-supported mentoring network who fosters and develops positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
HIGH FIVES FOUNDATION
The High Fives Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to providing equal opportunity for athletes from all walks of life. The foundation helps skiers, surfers, bikers/dirtbikers, and fishers get back to doing what they love most.
